Problem

For a specific client, the business needed to produce a regular fax order which included transaction details including signatures of approved managers and the transaction amounts entered numerically and in words (like a cheque/check).

For a specific client, the business needed to produce a regular fax order which included transaction details including signatures of approved managers and the transaction amounts entered numerically and in words (like a cheque/check).

Solution

This solution was built as part of an Excel add-in suite of tools for the business area.
The add-in displayed a screen which allow the user to select appropriate values.
The amount was automatically converted to words and scanned signatures of the appropriate managers imported from a secure network folder.
The saved PDF was attached to an email created automatically created by the add-in.
