Problem
Lending managers have limits what they are authorised to lend based on criteria including their experience and training. This is referred to as their ‘CAD’
The client needed a tool to expedite the process of receiving, processing and managing CAD applications.
This was previously done via 100s of emails with no central controls.
Solution
The solution was to migrate the data to a central database. Data is managed through validated screens (rather than emails) and provides full visibility on each lender’s CAD lending authority.
Each team (such as credit and risk) could view and edit data relevant to them (email has no such controls).
Data could be extracted to Excel for analysis or MS Word for reporting.
